The title says it all. I'm ecstatic! I hunted for 2 hours with my daughter and as we were making our way back to the car I found them! These sell for $100 a pound in Japan. I took them to a local mushroom buyer for identification and he wanted to buy them. I'm keeping these, I've never eaten one and would never buy one in the store at $40.00 per pound. My husband is putting one of them in a pasta dish.I want to go matzi hunting now that I know what they look like. The buyer gave me some tips on where to find them and he pays $10.00 per pound for them. Have to go it's time for dinner!
