A hike behind a locked gate. I am starting to like all locked gates, they open up hiking opportunities.
Sage picked up one tick on the last road hike. I did not pick up any ticks. This is tick season and old roads are prime tick habitat. Perhaps there are less ticks on the West side of the Olympics?

| Snow condition were good. Snow was deep but fairly firm. |
