My mycology class is going to invade the Lower South Fork Skokomish trail this week. My ankle brace has been working well on mushroom forays and I intend to give it a real test during the field trip. I don't know how far I can walk since I have not been on a real hike since March. I still seem to be in good shape for bike riding though. My foray to find Kingbolets this weekend took me about 4 miles and my legs were sore, that is not a good sign. I'd like to do 9-10 miles on the Skok but that might be overdoing it. Normally the 9-10 mile loop I do on the Skok not not really feel like much of a work out.
