Logging closes the Upper Skokomish Trail

This is the logging operation on the road going up to Pine Lake they are cuttting the trees to raise money to decomission just 1/2 mile of the road. I hope they use some of that money to fix the foot bride that went out this year but I'm not holding my breath.

The trail just opened up for the season but the snow was too deep, now the snow it gone so they are closing it for logging. sigh.. Staircase is still closed too. With all the closed trails and the price of gas I may as well just walk laps around the jr. high track field. :(
